Pack-a-Punch Unlock Guide
Every map's Pack-a-Punch requirement explained step by step.
Pack-a-Punch upgrades a weapon for 4,500 points, roughly doubling damage and often adding unique visual effects. Unlike generic Roblox shooters, Michael’s Zombies hides the machine behind map-specific objectives — you cannot PaP until the arena’s unlock sequence is complete. This guide covers every major map as of v2.1.0 Crash and Burn.

The Giant (Der Riese)
The classic method:
- Turn on power at the switch near the generator room.
- Activate three teleporters located around the map — Factory, Courtyard, and Laboratory wings each host one pad.
- Use each teleporter once to link it to the main receiver beside the Pack-a-Punch room.
- When all three lines connect, the Pack-a-Punch door opens.
This mirrors COD Zombies Der Riese logic. Practice teleporter timing on low rounds so zombies do not down you mid-activation. Pair with the Mule Kick Easter egg during the same run if you have extra points. Map layout details: The Giant.
Lighthouse
Lighthouse replaces a static machine with a random power-up drop from zombies after power is restored:
- Flip the power switch in the lighthouse basement.
- Open the map until the sonar room and upper decks are accessible.
- Kill zombies until a Pack-a-Punch power-up icon appears — pickup location varies by spawn table.
- Grab the power-up before it expires; the upgrade station appears at the marked pad near the dock.
Because the drop is random, farm kills in the central courtyard where spawn density is highest. The Lighthouse escape Easter egg uses the same power infrastructure — learn the layout once for both goals. Full map guide: Lighthouse.
Hallows Eve
The Halloween map uses pumpkin targets:
- Turn on power through the ritual switch near the graveyard entrance.
- Locate seven colored pumpkins hidden across the map — orange, purple, green, and black variants.
- Shoot each pumpkin until it explodes; an audio cue confirms hits.
- After all seven break, the pumpkin-themed Pack-a-Punch altar activates in the mausoleum.
Trick-or-treat perk machines on this map can roll random perks — see Hallows Eve for perk location risks. Event quest players should also read Halloween Rune and Key.
Definitely Origins
The April Fool’s arena gates Pack-a-Punch behind a puzzle sequence:
- Power the map via the three generator analogs in the trenches.
- Complete the elemental slot puzzle near the center monument — interact with stones in the order hinted by ambient audio and skybox color shifts.
- Raise the miniature robot escort; protect it during a short holdout wave.
- When the robot docks, the Pack-a-Punch platform rises from the ground.
PHD Crashout helps during explosive puzzle phases. The full Easter egg ending extends beyond PaP — see Definitely Origins Easter egg. Map page: Definitely Origins.
One Window
One Window uses a single-window holdout:
- Activate power from the cabin fuse box.
- Survive a timed lockdown at the lone breach window — zombies only enter from this point during the event.
- When the timer completes, the wall beside the Mystery Box retracts to reveal Pack-a-Punch.
The tight layout makes this ideal for practicing training while unlocking PaP. Details: One Window and One Window challenge.
Undead Nocturn
Night-themed survival map:
- Light the three torches around the courtyard after power is online.
- Collect moon fragments dropped by special night zombies (blue glow) — you need three fragments.
- Deposit fragments at the altar near the church doors to spawn the Pack-a-Punch machine temporarily; it relocates each round until you finalize it with one more deposit.
See Undead Nocturn for torch locations.
One Cabin
Compact map with a fast unlock:
- Turn on power.
- Pay 2,000 points at the ritual table in the basement — unique to this map, PaP requires both the ritual fee and the standard 4,500 upgrade cost.
- The machine descends from the attic hatch for the rest of the match.
Good for quick high-round tests. Map page: One Cabin.
Upgrade tips
- PaP the gun listed highest on the weapons tier list — usually Saiga-12, PTRS-41, or Raygun.
- Version 2.1.0 added ammo attachments; apply them after PaP for maximum DPS.
- On VIP servers, use admin commands to
set_roundhigher after unlocking PaP for damage testing.
